1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Xordinari Golf. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Xordinari Golf mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Xordinari, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
Xordinari Golf is a golf software platform that provides, among other features:
- Golf round tracking, scoring, and hole-by-hole stat recording
- Handicap index calculation following World Handicap System (WHS) guidelines for recreational use (not an official GHIN handicap)
- League management tools for organizers and players
- Scorekeeping for side games such as Skins and Nassau (see section 7)
- An optional AI caddie feature that generates personalized coaching insights from your round statistics
Specific features available to you depend on your subscription tier. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. User Accounts
To access most features you must register for an account. You must be at least 13 years of age. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Promptly notifying us at legal@xordinari.com of any unauthorized access or security breach
Each person may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, manipulate handicaps, or abuse any feature is a material breach of these Terms.
4. Subscription, Cancellation and Refunds
Free tier — Xordinari Golf offers a free tier that is free forever, not a time-limited trial. No credit card is required. Core scoring, basic stats, and participation as a player in leagues are always available at no charge.
Plus and Pro tiers — Additional features are unlocked on paid subscription tiers. Current pricing is displayed in the app and on our pricing page at the time of purchase.
Where you bought it decides who bills you. A subscription bought inside the iPhone or Android app is charged and managed by Apple or by Google, under their terms and billing policies. A subscription bought directly from us on this website is charged and managed by us.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel
- We may change subscription pricing with advance notice; a price change takes effect at your next renewal, never mid-period
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, and you do not have to tell us why. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not cut off the time you have already paid for. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and then drops to the free tier. Your rounds, scores and history stay with your account either way — cancelling a subscription does not delete anything.
A subscription bought in the app is cancelled from your own App Store or Google Play account, because that is where the billing lives; we cannot cancel it for you. Manage your subscription has the exact steps for each.
Refunds
Bought in the app. Apple and Google hold the payment, so Apple and Google issue the refund, under their own refund policies. Request it through the store you bought it from. We cannot refund a store purchase on their behalf, and we are not able to see or reverse the charge. If a store declines and you believe it is our mistake, tell us and we will look at it with you.
Bought directly from us on this website. Ask us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full, no reason needed. Contact us through the support page from the email address on the account. After 14 days, cancel instead and the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
League dues. Dues are the league's money, not ours. They are collected into the league's own payment account, and only the league can refund them. Ask your commissioner. Xordinari does not hold league dues and cannot refund or reverse a dues payment. Dues paid by card carry a service fee; the fee is not refundable once the payment has settled.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, fraudulent, or intentionally incorrect scores to manipulate handicap indexes, standings, side-game results, or any other competitive outcome
- Scrape, crawl, spider, or systematically harvest any data from the Service without our prior written permission
- Impersonate another person, organization, or entity
- Use the league chat or any communication feature to harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other users
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful or disruptive code
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying infrastructure
- Post or send content that is objectionable, including content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or threatening, or that targets anyone because of who they are
Zero tolerance. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. In the app you can report any message and block any member from the “···” button beside their message, and league managers can remove messages in their league. We review reports and remove content, and the accounts that post it, when it breaks these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these prohibitions, without refund, and to report unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities.
6. User Content
“User Content” means any data, scores, statistics, photos, comments, or other information you submit to or through the Service.
You own your data. You retain full ownership of your User Content. We do not claim ownership of your golf history, round records, or any other data you create.
License to us. By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant Xordinari, Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and, where applicable, to other users in the same league or event (for example, displaying scores on a shared leaderboard). This license terminates when you delete the content or close your account.
We will not sell your data. We do not sell your User Content or personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit your User Content and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights.
7. Side Games
Xordinari Golf keeps score for side games — Skins, Nassau, Wolf, and others — and can open a third-party payment app you already use, such as Venmo, Cash App or PayPal, with nothing filled in. We do not hold, process, move, or take any cut of money exchanged between players in side games. Any payment is made by you, inside that third-party app, to whomever you choose.
Anything players agree among themselves about a side game is entirely between those players. We are not responsible for disputes about side game results, agreed amounts, or who paid whom.
You are responsible for making sure any side games you play, and anything you agree to exchange in them, comply with the laws where you are.
8. AI Features
Xordinari Golf offers optional AI-powered features including the AI Caddie, pre-round briefings and post-round debriefs, powered by Anthropic’s Claude AI API. The app asks before any of your data is sent to the AI provider: nothing is sent unless you tap Allow, and you can change your choice at any time in App Settings under “AI caddie suggestions”.
Provided “as-is” without warranty of accuracy. AI features are provided on an “as-is” basis without any warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of the output for any particular purpose. AI-generated content is for informational and entertainment purposes only and is not a substitute for instruction from a qualified PGA professional or certified golf instructor.
Not for rules decisions. Do not rely on the AI Caddie or any AI-generated content to resolve rules disputes or make official rules determinations. For authoritative rules guidance, consult the official Rules of Golf published by the USGA and The R&A.
Data transmitted. When you use AI features, relevant golf data (scores, stats and course context) is transmitted to Anthropic’s API servers for processing. Your email address and payment information are never included. A league’s weekly recap can name members with their season points. Modification or removal. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any AI feature at any time, including to manage costs associated with third-party AI providers, without prior notice. Removal of an AI feature does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of subscription fees already paid, beyond the refund rights set out in section 4.
9. Intellectual Property
The Xordinari Golf app, website, logo, brand name, and all platform content that is not User Content — including but not limited to software, design, copy, graphics, and data models — are the exclusive property of Xordinari, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, logo, trademarks, or other brand assets without prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Xordinari, Inc.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities. We do not warrant that defects will be corrected or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components.
Handicap disclaimer. The handicap index calculated by Xordinari Golf follows WHS guidelines and is intended for recreational use within our platform. It is not an official USGA/GHIN handicap index. For formal competition or official handicap purposes, use the USGA's official system through an authorized golf association.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, XORDINARI, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in such jurisdictions the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Xordinari, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your User Content
- Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property, privacy, or contractual right
We reserve the right to assume exclusive control of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of that claim.
13. Termination
By you. You may delete your account at any time from Delete Account on your Profile in the app. The deletion runs immediately; backup copies expire as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not by itself refund a period already paid for; the refund rights in section 4 still apply.
By us. We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we determine in our sole discretion that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive conduct, or if continued provision of the Service to you would expose us or others to legal or reputational risk.
Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately terminate. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including User Content, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from or related to them or the Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration in Wyoming, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property violations.
